Our Challenges

Our challenges are unique and have 2 components to it – an external and internal dimension.
Participants are encouraged to #1 Workout and #2 Eat a clean meal / change an old belief or habit that doesn’t serve a good purpose.
Our challenges run anywhere from 2 weeks to a month in duration.

#ForTheLoveOfMama
Duration – May 1 – 31, 2016
2 Rules as always:
1. Try to get in the daily required value of 1500 mgs of calcium and 600 IU of Vitamin D through the day
2. Workout 30 minutes – 3X a week

#30in30‬
Duration – April 3 – 30, 2016
2 Rules: 1. Eat a good nutritious breakfast with about 30 grams of protein in it
2. Workout 30 minutes – 3X a week
This challenge saw 36 participants/357 Protein rich breakfasts consumed/21,775 Workout Minutes clocked!

#SpringIntoAction
Duration – Mar 22 – Apr 2, 2016
2 rules: 1. Workout 20 minutes. Minimum. Swelfies (sweaty-selfies) welcome
2. Eat one serving of a different colored fruit/vegetable everyday.
This challenge saw 30 participants, 223 fruits/veggies consumed and 13,227 workout minutes clocked!

#21daysOfBodyAndBeyond
Duration – March 1 – 21, 2016
Participants do two things: 1. Workout 21 minutes and 2. Purge.Ditch. Dump. Donate.
We encouraged members to look in ones pantry / closet / inner self and let go of say – a food / ingredient that has expired / a dress that doesn’t fit anymore / a belief, habit, practice that doesn’t serve a good purpose in ones life.
Write a note about it. Shred it. Grab a garbage bag to put it all in there.
21 days. 21 items.
This challenge saw 51 participants /  268 items-negative.beliefs-bad.habits purged /  23,870 Workout minutes clocked!

#SpiceItToWinIt
Duration – Feb 15 through 29, 2016
We encouraged participants to work out 150 minutes in a week playing by AHAs guidelines and explore cooking up new recipes which include a metabolism boosting food / spice / herb.
This challenge saw – 31 participants /  225 Metabolism Boost Meals /  15,219 Workout minutes clocked!

#BeMy-HeartHealthy-Valentine
Duration – Feb 1 through 14, 2016
2 rules – Playing by AHAs guidelines – 150 Workout minutes in a week and eat 3 Heart Healthy Meals a week. This challenge saw 37 participants / 280 Heart Healthy Meals / 19248 Workout minutes clocked! ~ 96,240 calories torched (assuming an average 5 calories / minute burn)

16 workouts / 16 Minutes minimum / To be completed in January 2016
This challenge saw 39 participants / 590 workouts / 33041 Workout minutes clocked! ~ 165,000 calories torched

#100HealthyDays
Started on Apr 13, 2015.
Its ongoing.
The idea behind it is to make healthy choices at least for a third of the year. Start working out regularly, stay active, build new and healthy eating habits which will hopefully result in making long term life style changes.
Over a duration of 10 Weeks, this challenge saw 26 Participants / 882 Active Hours / 264,730 Calories Torched!
